Rachel Robasciotti
Rachel J. Robasciotti leads Adasina Social Capital, a firm she built to serve as a bridge between financial markets and social justice movements.
She founded her first investment firm at 25 and later grew its strategy into Adasina in 2020 — a firm majority-owned and operated by women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ team members. She is widely credited with coining the term “social justice investing” and driving its adoption across the finance industry; Adasina’s public campaigns have named companies tied to prisons, surveillance, and immigrant detention, and its social justice ETF gives everyday investors a concrete way to put those values into a portfolio. Her leadership is rooted in her own experience as a Black, queer woman raised in a community that struggled for financial security.
Rachel didn’t just build a firm — she helped name and define an entire category of investing, giving the finance industry, and everyday investors, shared language for what it means to put money behind justice.
